Walgreens: $.50 Nature Valley Granola Thins

I started to type this post up yesterday and never did get a chance to finish it.  Anyway,  if you decide to get the deal at Walgreens this week on Nature Valley Granola Bars, you could be in for a surprise. There seems to be an overlapping Register Reward that makes each box as low as $.50.

I have not tested this myself but here is the advertised deal:

General Mills Cereal, Fiber One Bars or Nature Valley Bars – 4/$10
Buy 4, Get $3 Register Reward (limit 1)
Final Price: as low as 4/$7.00 or $1.75 each

Some people are getting an extra $2 Register Reward back on these- so if that does work for you the price would be $5 for 4 boxes or $1.25 each.

Now it looks like the Nature Valley Granola thins are also working for this deal so you can try this:

General Mills Cereal, Fiber One Bars or Nature Valley Bars – 4/$10
Buy 4, Get $3 Register Reward (limit 1)
Use (4) $0.75/1 Nature Valley Granola Thins, exp. 1/7/12 (GM 11/13/11)
Pay $7.00 and get back a $3 Register Reward plus a $2 Register Reward

So it should work out to as low as $.50 per box.

Again, I have not tested this myself and can’t say how long that overlapping RR will last. Usually Walgreens stops these kinds of deals pretty quickly so it is best to shop early.

I didn’t buy the Thins, but bought regular Nature Valley granola bars this morning (Monday at 9:00 AM MST) and I got back the $3 and the $2 RR!

I bought the 4 boxes of Thins with 75cent q’s. It worked! Got the $3 + $2 RR, making it 50cents/box. Tried the Multi-grain Cheerios with the $1/1 q… didn’t ring up at 4/$10 (rang up as 4/$20!) in case anyone was planning on doing this deal. 🙁

I’ve heard it’s not printing the extra $2 RR in some areas. For those who’ve had success, could you tell me in what area it worked? TIA!

Kasey- you might just be too late. I mentioned the overlapping rewards they tend to catch quickly and it is already Thursday now. They may have ended the second one. I think I suggested in the post you want to shop early and that means as quickly as you possibly can. When you shop toward the end of the week the chances of getting the deal are very slim.
