This is really interesting for those of you in school or that have college students. You can rent textbooks on the Kindle, PC, Mac, Ipad, or Smart Phone!
Amazon offers textbook rentals for up to 80% off the list price of the books. You will actually rent the book for the length of time needed- typically 30-360 days. It will pop up on the device you select and once the rental expires it just disappears.
I went to college and grad school and I am quite sure I spent a small fortune on all those textbooks. What really ticked me off is the books you only needed for a short time or for a few chapters and it always seemed so wasteful. Not to mention lugging all those heavy things around with you!
