A few notes:
1. The in ad coupons can be found in the circulars at the front of the store. You don’t need to cut them out, the cashier can just scan them right from the ad.
2. The Walgreens April coupon book is free at the front of the store. The cashier can just scan the coupon and the value will come off for each like item you buy. So if you want 4 packs of the Pilot pens, you only need one coupon and it will take $1 off for each package in your transaction.

I live in Carmichael and I LOVE your blog! I just started reading a couple of weeks ago.
I went to my local Walgreens and they would not only let me buy 1 pack of pens. I went back again to buy another, so I have 2. Is the cashier wrong?

Found the Gillette Fusion Gamer razor on sale for $4.79 plus it was a BOGO sale. I had (2) $4/1 Fusion Razor coupons and the register took both so the $4 credit from the free razor went to the rest of my purchase. Is that typical?

Kerri, I bought 2 razors as well and the register gave me one free too! I don’t know if this is an unadvertised deal.
Jennifer, I saw in the ad there was a sale of buy one and get one 50% off. I did go to another Walgreens near me to see if I could get 2 more and it did ring up buy one get one 50% off. I don’t know why the stores would be different about 2 miles from each other.
If anyone is interested in the Aveeno deal, print out three of the $1 MQ from the Aveeno site, the deal is buy 3 Aveeno products and get a gift bag filled with goodies for free, all Aveeno items are 25% off in store, inside the free goodie bag is a $2 MQ coupon, I was albe to use 4 MQ, even one on the free bag. I bought the three of the 2.5 oz moisturizing lotions for hubby, they are priced at $2.54. The math looks like this 2.54 x 3 = 7.62 – 5.00 = 2.62 plus free goodie bag! I liked the deal : )
