Oh gosh, I can remember when I was a teen and would fix fried rice for breakfast. Oh how I wish I had that energy again. I like rice as fried rice or with a little salt & butter.

My favorite way to eat rice is in stirfry. I make a really yummy stirfry sauce 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup sugar mixed together with about 1-2Tbsp cornstarch and a dash of ginger. It can be poured over whatever veggies and meat you want and then cooked until the sauce starts to thicken. YUM YUM!! I pour my stirfy on my rice and mix it up.

Really, my favorite way – although I do it rarely – is to cook bacon and eat both together.

I like to use rice to stretch leftover chicken by adding cream of mushroom soap and a vegetable to make a one-dish meal.

I love to have it with my chicken stir fry. We never had rice when we were kids because my mom didn't like it…she just didn't have any good recipes for it.
