I wanted to also mention this electric wall heater I spotted on Amazon that has a $10 off coupon today, dropping the price to $89. This is electric and can be wall mounted or just rest on the floor for seasonal use. You can use WIFI to control the settings and preheat a room and this looks like a great option to stay warm for the last few months of winter. I love that you can turn this on before you get home or you can turn it on before you get up in the morning- this would be so amazing in a bathroom for those early morning hours when it is so cold.
I am in California and the sun is out and we are moving into Spring but I still have my portable heater right next to my desk chair and an electric blanket on the bed.
