Ok this is a very random item but I recently stumbled upon these treadmill desks that easily attach to a variety of treadmill brands.
If you have a treadmill and want to convert it to a walking pad, this is perfect. I think this would be a fantastic Mother’s Day gift and I am purchasing one for myself.
There are a bunch of sizes and styles depending on your needs- get a small tablet holder to use while running or a larger desk surface to use while walking. These attach to the treadmill so they won’t slip if you are walking at an incline and many have raised surfaces for more comfortable viewing.

I have been using a bathtub tray on our treadmill to hold my laptop so I can walk while I work. I recently hopped off the treadmill to turn on the fan and when I hopped back on, I slipped, knocked the tray over and had a gnarly bruise for weeks on my leg. I thought I was a genius with my little set up until I had a yard sale and my laptop went flying and the bathtub tray broke and it was lucky I wasn’t really hurt. So I do think one of these trays designed for the treadmill that attach properly is worth the investment.
