Easter is coming up fast and I wanted to mention a few ideas for Easter baskets this year for those of you with teenagers. I started with this age group because I am in the process of ordering several of these items for my own girls. For this first basket, my daughter ran it past her lunch group of sophomores and it was emphatically approved.
I went with pinks but this basket can easily be done in neutrals, purples, blues, yellow etc…
Belt Bag. Instead of a basket go with a belt bag in a fresh color. My daughter has an ivory Lululemon belt bag and I am getting her a fun vibrant pink for summer.
Apple Watch Band– I love the bright colors of these bands and they are super inexpensive and practical.
Smiley Keychains. These are cute for backpacks, house keys or for new drivers.
Elf Sunscreen. This is the latest viral sunscreen from Tik Tok that is very affordable and is supposed to be comparable to Supergoop.
Kinder Bueno Candy. Any fun treat- Kinder is my daughter’s favorite.
Tree Hut Tropic Glow. We are water logged here in California and this subtle shimmer spray makes me excited for warmer weather.
Tree Hut Foaming Shower Gel. This is new from Tree Hut and since we love their scrubs and lotions, I am looking forward to trying this.
Owala Water Bottle. I know this isn’t a Stanley but it is a much better design, slightly less expensive and still really cute.
And some ideas for the guys…
For teen boys I think this is a great time to replenish hygiene products in particular and stock up on sun care, new socks, underwear etc…
Gatorade Jug. A large jug is a great alternative to a basket and very practical for athletes.
Gatorade Pods. My daughter loves these but note they only work with the special Gatorade squeeze bottles or the jug highlighted above.
Rice Krispies Candy. Something fun and different that is new this year.
Taki Jerky Sticks. Jerky is always a hit.
Odoban. I love this product to use as an air freshener or disinfectant. I spray this on mattresses, in my car before vacuuming, use it to spot clean and I have a travel size version in all sports bags. It is great for dirty jerseys or to spray in cleats.
Body Wash. This Method smells fantastic.
Face Wash. This Panoxyl is a stronger face wash for sweaty summer skin. It is a great wash to have in the shower for the back and chest to avoid any breakouts.
Moisturizer with Sunscreen. Any good moisturizer preferably with sunscreen. This Method is light, compact and has SPF 30.
Lip Balm with Sunscreen. This Sun Bum lip balm does have SPF for summer but note the black color means it should be kept out of direct sun.
Hopefully that gives you some ideas for Easter baskets your older kids will love.
