I think this is a new update to the Whole Foods service- at least it is new to me. You can now order online and pick up your order within an hour at your local store. Or if you want delivery, it is free within 2 hours with a $35 minimum.
I think this is just awesome personally because when you need last minute things or realize you don’t have everything for dinner- put in that order and you can quickly pickup stress free.
You guys I have started using the Walmart pickup service for almost all our pantry needs this year and I love the service. I find that I need to reserve a time the day before and during shelter in place, it was really tricky to even find a pick up time at all. So this is awesome. For my meat and fresh foods, I usually go to Sprouts but I am going to try this Whole Foods service instead.
I did test this myself by putting in my order and the results said I can pick up within 30 minutes for a $4.99 fee or for free within 90 minutes. So I’m not sure if every store will always be able to accomodate the 60 min window but I am sure they will probably get pretty close- especially during non-peak hours.
