You can pick up the popular 23andMe kits for 50% off today. I got one of these for my Dad last year for Christmas- they make really interesting and fun gifts.
This particular kit is the DNA and the health kit that comes back with tons of information. It is priced at $99 on sale today (11/23/19) but prices can change at any moment.
Also there are some other cheaper kits available right now that might seem confusing. For example, CVS has a promotion to buy a 23andMe kit for $29.99 and get $29.99 back in ECBs. I just wanted to note that those kits are only the sampling materials, you actually have to pay to get the lab work done. (So not much of a gift to give someone.) The CVS kit specifically says it is an additional $69 for basic ancestry lab work or $169 for both the ancestry and health reports.
If you do not want the extra health reports and only want the DNA information, the ancestry kit only is a nice deal at Target for $59 with a $10 gift card back.
