Simple Sports Snacks {Soccer, Softball, Baseball Snack Ideas}

Soccer season is starting soon and I thought I’d post a super simple treat idea that works for soccer treat day and can easily be adapted to several other sports too.

You can use this for softball, baseball, football or basketball too.  No baking, just a little of this and that in a baggie and I promise you, kids will love these.  We have made these a few times and kids always devour these before they even get off the field.

I think these are perfect for birthday treat day at school if you have a child that loves a certain sport.  Both of my girls play soccer and softball and they would happily take these instead of cupcakes or cookies on party day.

You won’t believe how simple these are to assemble, your little soccer star might be able to do it themselves.  I picked up clear treat bags, added in Teddy Grahams (or any other mini cookie you like), mini marshmallows and chocolate soccer balls.  I have only been able to find these chocolate sports balls at Party City in the bulk bins- 10 for $1.    They do have basketballs and baseballs and I think they might have footballs and even tennis balls too.

Pop a few chocolate balls in the bag to create a smore’s treat.  I also add a few Sixlets (also from Party City) in either green for green grass or the team color or club color.

So incredibly simple.

Sadly, Party City does not carry softballs but they do have baseballs and I have used those for our softball snacks and end of season treats.

The smore’s mix is great or for All Stars we added a little green crinkle grass to the bottom of the bags, a mini bag of Cracker Jacks and a few chocolate baseballs.  Big League Chew would also be fun or what ball player doesn’t love sunflower seeds?

For this particular treat, I used gold star ribbon to represent the All Stars and my daughter made a custom little note for each of her teammates to attach to the front.

Simple, she assembled these with just a little help and the kids loved them.

And if you need something simple to thank your Coach, these candy bar cards are really fun:
