Ahhh homebodies. My tribe. I just love to be at home- especially in winter when there is traffic, cold weather, crowds… No thank you. You can find me on my couch watching the Holiday Baking Challenge with my girls.
I had to do a gift guide for my fellow home bodies because… well here is what I really want this year. I hope you are listening Santa 😉
Paddywax Library Candle Collection
Basically this is my favorite find for the year. Do you have any readers on your list? Pick up one of these Paddywax candles from the library collection based upon literary heroes like Jane Austin, Shakespeare, Emerson and more… This would also be fun for teacher gifts!
Crane Heater
I recommended this little portable heater last year and I still love it. I trek this thing from my office to the bedroom, to the kitchen… it is so warm and lightweight.
Moccasin Slippers
I take slippers seriously as I wear them every single day around the house. I often wear them to pick up from dance and sports and all the car pool line too if truth be told. I have had a pair of Minnetonka slippers from last year that I love and that have really held up well. I do love the gold of these J Crew Moccasins and if you want to splurge a bit, the Ugg slippers are pricey but they feel like walking on clouds.
Cashmere Cardigan
I treated myself to this cardigan for my birthday coming up in a few weeks. I would never spend this much on a sweater normally but I have a similar cardigan to this that I wear constantly around the house. I am not a robe person so a soft, cashmere cardigan that I can toss on seems so lovely I couldn’t resist.
Roomba with Wi Fi
You might be thinking a vacuum? Really? But the Roomba really is awesome. We had one for years and loved it so much we gave my Father in Law one and my Dad one for Christmas. This one has Wi Fi so you can turn it on right from your phone. Set it from the car pool line and the carpets will be clean when you get back home!
Ring Doorbell Camera
Lol I know. Vacuums and doorbells. Worst Christmas ever right? Wrong my friends! I am asking for this myself for Christmas because guess who regularly wears pajamas until noon? (Work from home issues…) Guess who hears the doorbell at 10am and silently debates embarrassing herself by answering and letting the neighbor or the sales guy or the UPS man know I am a sloth that doesn’t put on real clothes until school pick up or just not answering and praying it isn’t an emergency of some sort? This girl! Get this little doorbell for yourself and you can see anyone that triggers the motion sensor or that rings your doorbell right on your smartphone. You need one. I need one. Santa are you listening?
Fabulous PJs
These pink gingham pjs fit the bill. Soft, comfy, cute. Pajamas are everything. As of posting get 40% off with code GIFTITUP.
Glass Coffee Maker
I haven’t tried one of these but have heard such great things! Plus they are so beautiful. Pour over and get a perfect cup of coffee every time.
Sugarfina Gourmet Candy
I mention Sugarfina all the time because this is just such a pretty gift when you just have no clue what to get someone. The Bubbly Bears and the Champagne Bears I give out all the time.
Supersoft Throw
A great price and tons of color choices. You can never have too many throws and a soft, plush one is just the thing for winter. Pick one up for yourself and for a loved one ;).
Swell Water Bottles
Sigh. I know. I am predictable. BUT. This is news friends. I love Swell water bottles. Don’t waste your money on the knock offs because Swell really keeps water cold for ages. Cold in my car for the afternoon on a 100+ degree day. They are magic. And now they have wide mouth! I much prefer wide mouth water bottles so this is possibly the most exciting thing that has happened since the new cute emojis showed up on my phone last week. There are some pretty tumblers too and since these are brand new, your special person likely won’t have them yet.
Copper Pans
These copper pans are so pretty and they are supposed to be really functional too. Non stick, evenly cook food and dishwasher safe. Hoping Santa brings these this year too.
The Wisdom of Sundays
This new book from Oprah was just released and I have already had it recommended twice. Oprah says: ” “If you want to be more fully present and live your life with a wide-open heart, this is the place to come to.” Sounds good to me!
