Rite Aid is running a fun promotion for the month of September called Plenti Point Palooza.
Each week they have a bunch of items on sale, coupons you can load onto your Rite Aid wellness+ with Plenti card and Plenti points with purchase. So many ways to save!
- If you are not familiar with Plenti points, you earn them by purchasing specific items at Rite Aid or by shopping at other Plenti partners (such as AT&T, Exxon/Mobil, Chili’s, Macy’s and more). 100 Plenti points is worth at least $1.00 in savings. The points you earn can be used towards savings at checkout! Once you’ve earned 200 points you can use those points for savings at Rite Aid and certain other Plenti partners. Simple! The program is completely free to join.
The Plenti Point Palooza items are clearly listed in the ad and on shelf tags in store. When you purchase your items at Rite Aid, the points are automatically added to your Plenti account at checkout and can be used on a future purchase.
For the week of 9/17, there are 19,000 Plenti points available throughout Rite Aid, which is
worth at least $190.00 in savings. Here are a few ideas from the ad running Sept 17:
Spend $12 on the listed items and earn 300 Plenti points back. Basically that works out to earn at least $3.00 back on a $12.00 purchase. Here is an idea for this offer:
Buy (4) boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal (2 for $5) $2.50 x 4= $10.00
Buy (2) boxes Quaker Granola Bars (2 for $5) $2.50 x 2 = $5.00
Subtotal $15
Use (3) $1 off 2 Quaker and/or Honey Bunches of Oats coupons from 9/17 Sunday circular
Earn 300 Plenti points worth at least $3.00 in savings to use on a future purchase
Final Price: $9.00 or $1.50 per item
That is a final savings of $6.00.
The granola bars are fantastic to stock up on if you have soccer snack duty this fall.
Another idea:
Buy 1 Schick Razor for $6.00
Buy 1 daylogic Men’s 3-Blade Razor $5.00
Use $3.00 Schick coupon from 9/17 Sunday circular
Pay $8.00
Earn 200 Plenti points worth at least $2.00 in savings for Schick and 500 Plenti points worth at least $5.00 in savings for daylogic
Final Price: $1.00 and you can do this same offer twice per razor!
That is a final savings of $10.00.
There are over 19,000 Plenti points available in the ad this week (Sept 17-23), worth at least $190 in savings, so take a look at your local Rite Aid ad and see what deals you find.
When you stop by Rite Aid, you will find these tags on all sorts of items on sale. The first large price is the sale price is with your Plenti card. Under will be the details about the Plenti points, including any limits and purchase requirements.
I did go to Rite Aid last week to do some shopping, and I had $3.70 worth in Plenti points that were available from prior purchases on my Plenti card. When the cashier swiped my card at checkout, she asked if I wanted to use the points on my purchase and the $3.70 came right off my total. I was surprised at how easy it really was to redeem the points. I had actually forgotten they were on my card so this was a nice surprise at checkout.
I like this program for busy families as you don’t need to keep track of any receipts or coupons, just swipe your Plenti card at checkout (or use your phone number to look it up) and that is it! Also the Plenti points don’t expire for 2 years so you have ample time to redeem them.
Once you checkout, your receipt will indicate what points you have remaining and what you have earned.
And then at the very bottom, the receipt will break down for you what Plenit points you earned and if you have reached the limit on offers. I purchased cereal, paper towels, a razor and face wash and that added up to 1200 Plenti Points or $12 to spend on a future trip.
You can apply for a free Plenti card by clicking here.
If you hit Rite Aid this week, I would love to hear what great deals you find. Stay tuned for next week’s ad because there will be another batch of fantastic deals with the Plenti Points Palooza promotion.
