I have a simple and silly Easter egg idea for you to try this year. When it comes to Easter eggs, my girls really love to color them so I try to keep things pretty simple. These little googely eye guys really couldn’t be simpler and I think they turned out adorable.
We used real eggs but this could easily be done with plastic eggs or confetti eggs for sure. In fact I have some confetti eggs that we are decorating tomorrow with faces.
So here is basically what you need:
- Assorted Googley Eyes
- Colored Easter Eggs (we used this coloring
)
- Glue
- Black Fine Point Sharpie
My girls actually colored these eggs hence the slightly blotchy and uneven color. Just adds character right? 😉
Once the children finished coloring the eggs, I used my hot glue gun and gently dotted a tiny amount of glue onto the back of each eye and added a little mouth with a sharpie. So simple and that is it.
Look how cute!
