Don’t Forget the Batteries: Toys“R”Us & Duracell Holiday Giveaway

There are some really fun toys available this holiday season, including this adorable FurReal Friends Torch, My Blazin Dragon. Torch is showing up on many of the hot toy lists for the year and is definitely one to look out for.  Torch responds to touch with 50+ sound and motion combinations, comes with a color changing treat, breathes a flame colored mist and more.  Fun right?

And many of you may be familiar with the popular FurReal Friends toys and this year they have a darling kitty called Bootsie.  Boostie is very soft and purrs or meows and has several motion changes- just like a real cat.

We received a sample of these toys and let me tell you both have provided a ton of entertainment.  The Bootsie toy is really soft and adorable.  Our puppy is convinced she is a real cat and we have laughed ourselves silly watching him react to her 😉  Torch was also a big hit- the kids could not tear into the box fast enough.

And what these two toys have in common is that they both need batteries.  Batteries are one thing that are so easy to forget and so important to grab!  I always make sure I buy extra batteries for birthday gifts or holiday gifts.  Nothing is worse than having a child super excited about a new toy and ripping into it and then discovering there are no batteries included.  So sad.
