It is time for the Nordstrom Semi Annual sale!  I love this time of year to pick up some new things for the kids and my husband and little old me.

There are some really wonderful deals but items will absolutely sell out very fast. Some items you may be able to pick up in store but many will likely be online only.

You might also take a quick look at the home items.  They really have a lot of cute things.  I picked up a new Dash & Albert rug for my kitchen and I can’t wait for it to arrive.

Head over to Nordstrom to take a look.

What size rug did you order, I’m confused by all the choices?

    Hi Erin,

It depends on what size you would like. For most rooms probably a 5×7 or 8×10 rug works. Usually 8×10 is better as all your furniture will fit on it and it won’t look too small but the price tag on that size is high. For a kitchen I ordered 2×3. Our sink space is fairly small so that will be like the size of a bathroom rug. If you want it for a hallway or to run the length of the kitchen the 2 1/2 x 8 would be perfect. That would be a long rug so like if you laid down on the floor and stretched your arms out- it would look like that. I also ordered one for our laundry room- that needs a larger rug than the kitchen one so for that room I ordered the 3×5. 🙂 Hope that helps! Measurements aren’t my strong suit so sometimes I use a tape measure in the space I have in mind and put a tiny piece of washi or painters tape down at each corner to visualize what the measurements will actually look like in that space. HTH!
