I have awesome news for those of you that shop at Sprouts Farmers Market stores. I am a huge Sprouts fan and I do the bulk of our shopping there every week.
They have amazing prices and a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy snack foods and lots of all natural and organic products.
Plus the stores are friendly and just feels like a neighborhood market.
In terms of coupons and savings, Sprouts does offer monthly items on sale, weekly items on sale plus on Wednesday the ads overlap so you can get the new ad discounts plus the prior week sales when you shop.
To compliment the sales and promotions they are rolling out a new app! The app has several handy features but the two major advantages that I found were the coupons and the weekly specials.
The weekly specials feature everything that is the in the ad so you can see what is on sale at a glance. I love this because I can quickly scan the sales on my way into the store and see if there is anything extra I want to add to my list.
Speaking of shopping lists, you can also click the shopping list feature to create your shopping list right in the app. Super handy if you are always leaving your list at home like I tend to do 🙂
They also have a mobile coupons section that has constantly changing coupons in it. You can click “Browse coupons” and see what is available. Clip the coupons you like and they are saved to your account. Some sample coupons only are available above to see. You can clip as many coupons as you like and they will work for one item, one time.
When you want to redeem them in store, just scan the barcode associated with your account and all the coupons will come off at checkout. Each coupon can be used just once but I found some great ones including $3 off Spectrum cooking oils and a FREE 12ct box of Don Francisco Single Serve Coffee pods. I need coconut oil and I always need coffee so that works for me!
I did use the coupons in my store already and I can say it was a very easy process. I simply pulled the bar code up, a scanner was located next to the debit card machine and I scanned the barcode myself and poof! The discounts came off and I was on my way. Very simple.
So to get the app for yourself to start using in store:
- Download from the App Store or Google Play
- Click to sign into your Sprouts account or create an account (you only need to do this once)
- Set your local store and then preview the ad flyer or coupons available
You can head over to Sprouts to find a location, see the monthly specials, find online coupons plus some cool stuff from the Sprouts blog like this amazing brunch set up. How perfect would that be for Mother;s Day?
Give the app a shot and come back and let me know how it works out for you!
Disclosure: Sprouts Farmers Market provided a gift card for me to utilize the new app in store myself. All opinions expressed are my own and you can find me in store pretty much weekly doing our shopping. Check the gummy bear bulk bins first.

I usually shop at Trader Joe’s and recently, I saw that a Sprouts opened near my house. It’s pretty out of my way though.
Do you know how prices compare between these two stores? I can go tgatbway just for Sprouts if prices are good, of course

Hi Pao,
I love Trader Joe’s but I could never do the bulk of my shopping there. I find they don’t have a large enough selection. Sprouts I can get most stuff and then I get a few things at Costco and a few things at Target. That is pretty much it for our shopping. If you like Trader Joe’s you will for sure like Sprouts and you will find a much larger selection of bulk items like nuts and legumes and oats and things and produce. I find Sprouts prices to be better too but I would take a look at the ad for your area and get a better idea for yourself. 🙂
