Elf on the Shelf Idea: Elf Peeks at Gifts

Here is one more quick and easy and fun Elf on the Shelf Idea.  My kids love seeing the wrapped gifts under the tree and they love even more digging through them to count gifts and look for their little names on packages 🙂  I totally remember trying to peek myself when I was a kid and I thought that would be a cute idea for our Elf.

So I just wrapped an empty cereal box and used a knife to make an X on the open side of the box.  That was easy to push the elf’s head through so he could be caught peeking at the gifts.

Fun, Silly, Simple.  All the things elf on the shelf should be.  My kids giggled when they saw this.
