The post for the American Girl doll Grace was on Sunday however, I just received the post in my inbox on Monday at 8pm. I was disappointed to find out the sale is over! I know it can be frustrating to miss a deal. The emails go out at 3pm EST. That is the latest I can send them so that people will still receive them before they leave work. I try very hard to post as much as I possibly can before the newsletter goes out. Sometimes I don’t see a deal until later or a deal doesn’t come up until later. That is only noon my time so it doesn’t give me a lot of time. If the newsletter has gone out there is nothing I can do. I can’t recall the newsletter to update it and I could in theory send out a second newsletter but I’d have to survey about 30,000 subscribers first to see if two emails a day would be ok. I can’t send extra newsletters out without permission because people tend to get upset and mark me as spam or unsubscribe and then newsletter providers will refuse to send any newsletters out at all.
Yesterday I was busy with other commitments and couldn’t sit down to post deals until the evening.
I always debate about whether or not to post great deals after the newsletter goes out because I know someone is going to be upset. It doesn’t happen often but it does happen from time to time. During the holidays I would suggest just checking in to the blog at night and that way you can be sure you haven’t missed anything important.

Oh and the newsletter does go out at noon PST/3pm EST. I know for sure because I get a receipt from the newsletter provider every day when it goes out. If yours didn’t come through until 8pm that could possibly be a delay with your email service.
