Black Friday Ad Starting Times

Are you ready for Black Friday?  Hopefully you already started shopping because we have seen some amazing deals already!

And no you most definitely do not have to cut out of Thanksgiving dinner before the pie is even sliced to get the deals.  You don’t have to wait in long lines, fight crowded stores and all that.  You can totally shop online and get pretty much everything you might need!  Often the prices are slightly better online too.

So some of the Black Friday ads have already started- a handful of deals at Target, the Macy’s ad and Kohl’s come to mind.

But as for the majority of the ads- here is just a projected start time that I think the ads will go live.  Please note this is only a guess and sometimes not every single thing goes live at exactly the time noted.  It is impossible to switch every single item to the correct price at exactly the same time so you might need to give the retailers a few minutes and just keep checking back to see.  And some sites tend to struggle with a few technical glitches- usually Target- so again you might need to have a little patience as they work to get everything working properly.

BUT with that being said- today is the day (Wednesday, Nov 25th) that we will see almost everything go live.

• Target: Midnight PST/ 3am EST/2am CT
• Toys R Us: 6pm PST/9pm EST/ 8pm CT
• Walmart: Midnight PST/ 3am EST/ 2am CT
• Best Buy: 9pm PST/ Midnight EST/ 11pm CT
• Sears: 4pm PST/7pm EST/ 6 pm CT

So if you want something like a TV, video game console or other super hot items you might want to be completely ready, logged into your account and have your payment info handy a few minutes before the ads go live.  For things like clothing, home items and such – they will often last well into Thursday so you have plenty of time to shop.

I definitely don’t want to suggest you wait- it is always best to just grab what you need as quickly as you can- but I also realize it isn’t always possible to stay up until 3am to shop 🙂
