I am super excited because this is early access time for Nordstrom shoppers! This is one of my favorite sales but here is the catch- if you have a Nordstrom credit card you get early access and can shop now through July 16th.
If you do not have a Nordstrom credit card, not to worry the sale is open to everyone starting June 17th- August 2.
I do not believe in credit cards really but we do have (2) of them- a Target redcard (the debit card option) and a Nordstrom card. I actually opened mine a few years ago to get access to this very sale. I am not here to talk you into a credit card by any stretch because the interest rates and fees on store credit cards are a punch in the stomach for sure. But we pay the darn thing off immediately and in full every single month and we have not had any fees on our account. Also you will get 2 points for every dollar spent on your Nordies card and once you hit 2000 points you get a $20 Nordstrom note.
So if you do have a Nordstrom card and want to take a look, there will be little tents set up in store by department or you can see tons of items online. You can order to ship to your home for free or you can order to have the items waiting for you in store to pick up.
Here are some highlights to consider– please note the online shopping usually has a lot more options than in store shopping:
Leopard Heels // Sperry Rainboots // Bootie // Nike Flyknit
V-Neck (4 colors) // jeans // Pj Set (the softest material ever) // Workout Capris
There are a few really cute boots including my favorite from last year the Tom’s Wedge Boots. I think I am going to grab those booties above too. I never look good in riding boots and I think those booties are a perfect heel height to be flattering and still walk able. I would totally grab those Sperry rain boots but I live in California and we basically don’t get rain. Ever. Just ask my sad brown grass. The Sperrys would be so perfect for soccer games and such this fall.
I am not much for high heels but I have seen so many fashion bloggers rock those leopard heels, I am super tempted to grab them. And if you need workout gear, the Zella stuff is great quality and worth checking out.
What I bought (so far):
Flannel // Cali Love Hoodie // Henley
Kate Spade bracelet (one for me and one for a Christmas gift) // Necklace // Dewdrop Earrings
I splurged on jewelry a bit this time but honestly I almost never buy jewelry and when I do I tend to wear it over and over and over again. So a few pieces that are good quality, not too expensive and classic are worth it 🙂
If you want to check out the Nordstrom Anniversary sale just head over here.
I did pick up a few things yesterday and today I put in another order that I am going to pick up at my local store. This is an excellent time to shop for jeans if you need them for fall!
