National Fishing and Boating Week is June 6-14. This is when most state’s offer Free Fishing Days. These are days when you are allowed to fish on public bodies of water without a fishing license.
Each state varies on the dates but you can check to see when your state is participating. I would recommend checking the dates right away because I noticed some states start early in May.
