I have a silly question…I joined, but now I’m not sure how I show that I’m a member when I visit Starbucks? Were they supposed to send me a card/something in the mail/e-mail? Thanks!
Emily- you need a gift card for everything to track. So register one gift card once and from that point on either download the free app which manages your card or just be sure not to lose it and you can continue to transfer balances from other cards or reload over and over and over. Any purchase you make or discounts or special offers are all tracked via that card. I hope that makes sense!

I have the iphone app myself but it is linked to a card. I click the same card each time I go and they scan the barcode. Is there another way that you are using the app? I did have to get a Starbucks gift card when I started with the app and I have just reloaded the same card ever since.
When you sign up with the app, you do not need a card. There is the option to choose that you do not have a physical card, and it will create s new card number for you.
