Registration is open for the next Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic on February 28th. Children can make a Monster Jam truck at 10 am.
It is always best to sign up for these right away because they do fill up really fast.
You must register before you attend. The kids should get an apron, all the supplies for the clinic and a few other goodies.

What are the ages for this one?
Brenda lamp says
What location is the monster truck project taking place please
Hannah says
Thanks for telling us about these cool clinics. In the 3 years that I’ve been following your posts, I have never been able to get into a single one of these clinics, they fill up so fast. How in the world do you find out about them early enough? There’s nothing on their website about getting notifications. My son was 7 when I first tried, he’s 10 now!
Charlene says
Hi Hannah– well that is crazy! Here are the next two clinics- the Monster Jam I posted and the one in March is not open yet:

The website says registration opens March 2nd for the March date so just mark that on your calendar and check first thing in the am 🙂 Maybe this time you’ll get lucky. Also if you don’t get in you can still show up. I am sure this varies by store but at my Lowe’s they usually have extras or no shows and as long as you are there before the thing ends they will help you. Make sure to tell them your three year waitlist status 😀

Hi Brenda- at Lowe’s locations nationwide.

Does anyone know how strict they are on age? I know the Home Depot ones are not strict at all, but wondered about Lowe’s…I got a spot, but my son is only 3 : /
Charlene says
Emily- Most stores are not that strict but you might just consider if your child can participate. There are small tools and paint so sometimes small children just aren’t that interested or they might have a hard time keeping little fingers out of things. If that is the case it might not be very fun for either of you and a child that is old enough to attend loses a spot. If you think your little man can do the activity by possibly hammering, gluing and painting then you should be fine 🙂 I think the guidelines for age is more so a little one is not disruptive to the other kids by being too young to really understand. I saw a toddler at an event once and he was all over the place making a mess, fingers nearly smooshed by hammers, grabbing things, crawling under the table… we had to switch to another station because it was disrupting my girls’ ability to do the project. That is really what they want to avoid.
Emily says
Thanks Charlene! He has done the Home Depot ones and does pretty well w/ them, so we’ll give this one a try and see. If bad, it will be our last for awhile 🙂
