Babies R Us and Toys R Us stores will have their annual Trade-In event from January 23rd through February 21st. In exchange for your item, you get a 25% off savings on the purchase of a select new baby item.
I have done this in the past and it worked to be a nice deal.
They will accept any used cribs, car seats, bassinets, strollers, travel systems, play yards, high chairs, toddler/twin beds, swings, walkers, bouncers and entertainers during the trade-in event.

Do we know if they only do this once a year? Or when is it typically if twice?
