The Sam’s Club Black Friday ad is ready to go!
This year is similar to last year, they are offering most of the deals online on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) and then you can shop in stores on Friday. Last year almost everything was available online and I know I was able to order some things from them and I am not a member.
This year they are pretty specific though that it is members only for the online shopping on Thanksgiving and then in store Friday. They have another event on Saturday and that appears to be for members and non members.
Starting at 7am-9am Friday, November 28th- members only
Open to the public, Nov. 29th-30th from 7-9pm Sat, 10am-7pm Sunday.
One important thing to note is that this year they included quantities with the items. Some of these are just ridiculous in my opinion- for example 8-16 Dyson vacuums per club… that isn’t a lot.
They do have a nice deal on the iPhone 6 and also on holiday cards though!

Any idea when the sales go live online on Thursday?
Hi Katie- last year the deals were live around 9:30pm on Nov 27th. Many of the deals are available Wednesday night- it would be Thursday AM for those on the East Coast. I usually stay up until crazy late on Wednesday posting as the ads go live :). It is nice because then you can get it all done and spend the rest of the day with your turkey and your family 😀
I was wondering if you think some of the kids movies( Planes Fire and Rescue, How to Train your Dragon 2, Mr Peabody and Sherman)will be deals for Black Friday or should I buy them now?
Hi Lissy- we always see tons of deals on movies on Black Friday. I am typing up Target at this moment and Target will have Planes for $10 DVD as well as How to Train Your Dragon 2. Have you rented Peabody? We saw it in theaters and we weren’t that impressed – just my opinion though :). Sometimes it is worth it to just pay a few dollars more and then you have the movies for a few extra weeks – especially if the kids are out of school like mine are a ton this month. If you don’t have any urgency on getting them though I’d wait and see :). Amazon will usually match offers too so you have lots of opportunities to get movies.
