Amazon has several kindle books that have been turned into movies.  The prices are $2.99 each and that seems like a great deal to me!  I paid closer to $10 for many of these books.

I love to read the books before I see the movies.  This is a great price to pick up several of these!  I have read Gone Girl, Unbroken, The Fault in Our Stars, Dark Places, The Boys in the Boat, Me Before You and I highly recommend all of them.  Unbroken for sure you want to pick up and Gone Girl and Dark Places are so creepy and so good!  If you like Law n Order or you liked the Stephen King book Misery- you will like this one.  Me Before You really pulled me in as well and I have since read several more Jojo Moyes books.  As for the Boys in the Boat- I found it a bit slow at first but eventually I fell into it and I am glad I read it.   Grab some tissues before you read The Fault in Our Stars.  It is a book about teens but so well written- I had a hard time putting it down.

The selection includes:

  • Gone Girl
  • The Fault in Our Stars
  • Unbroken: A World War II Story
  • If I Stay
  • The Boys in the Boat
  • Dark Places
  • Defending Jacob
  • Outlander: A Novel
  • Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail
  • Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison
  • Me Before You
  • Serena PS

How about you?  Any of these that you have reviews on? You can see more books to add to your reading list by checking out my 100 Books to Read in a Lifetime post.

Oh my goodness, Gone Girl was super creepy. Are there really people like that?!? I really want to read her other book, Sharp Objects. Thanks for the great list!
