I mentioned earlier the nice discount Target is offering. You can save $10 off $40 orders placed online for in store pick up.  The discount is automatically deducted once you hit the total.  Even better, the P&G gift card offer is overlapping with this for a nice deal.

You get a $10 gift card when you buy 4 select P&G products.  You can’t use any coupons but it still works out to a nice deal on the Charmin and Bounty.

Here is one idea:

Buy (2)Charmin 24pk double roll or 12pk mega roll – $12.99
Buy (2) Bounty 12pk basic roll or 5 pk giant roll – $8.99
Buy 4 and get a $10 gift card
$10 discount on $40 orders
Price: $33.96 and get back $10 gift card
Final Price: $23.96 or $5.99 per item

There is also a nice deal on diapers if you need those.  You can get a $20 gift card on the giant packs of Huggies and Pampers. I tested the size 2 Pampers Baby Dry (160 ct) and it works out just $.11 per diaper or about $3.95 per regular pack.

Here’s how:

Pampers Baby Dry Giant Pack $31.99 each
Buy 2 and get $20 gift card
$10 discount on $40 orders
Price: $53.98 and get $20 gift card
Final Price: $33.98

(thanks, Jill)

this is a great deal! I saw where you can make up to 4 transactions for the $10 off $40. I also used my target card and saved 5% plus I used ebates and got another 5% back! YEA!

Oh bummer, I just now saw that ebates excludes money back on diapers! sorry.

Looks like they are no longer offering the 12 pack of Mega Rolls online for the $12.99 price. Guess I didn’t act fast enough.

Is anyone else having trouble with the store locator part of the website? I placed an order last night and when I went to the store this morning, they said their computers were being overloaded and had to ring me up manually. Fortunately, the still honored the $10 off deal. If I go back to Target’s website now, it keeps saying “store information is unavailable at this time” so I can’t select this as an option. :/ I thought it might be an outtage all over but it seems other people can still place orders. Hopefully they figure it out soon!

    Kathleen,

I am going crazy with Target’s website now. I was able to place two orders last night right before midnight, using both my desktop and my i-pad — one wouldn’t let me locate stores and the other wouldn’t do something else… I have been trying all day today on both devices to place two more orders and the store locator part isn’t working. I’m also trying to use the “college” promo code that worked last night but won’t work today. Too bad for Target — they are trying to promote this “great service” and it may just backfire!

Michelle- from what I have read there are people placing 4 orders for each member of the family and really taking advantage of the offer. I suspect Target didn’t realize they would have this large of a response. So that could be one reason for the problems. Someone was telling me there was a literal wall of diapers in the customer service area at their store because hundreds of people were ordering.

I posted this deal early Sunday morning and I tested the college code and it was not working. I believe that was something for last week?

I was able to get the college code to work today by making my basket $50 after the $10 off “in store pick up.” On Sunday night I didn’t have to do that, but for some reason I didn’t pull the trigger then.

Can we stack this deal with the PG coupon for buy one pack of diapers and get a 72 count wipe free? I’m thinking no, but thought it was worth asking! Especially if some people mentioned here they are needing to be run up manually in the store… we’ll see!
    Thanks!

Hmmm.. You know what? I tried it on the ottomans so I bet that was why. Maybe those just didn’t qualify.
