Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy. I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.
These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.
Pottery Barn Kids: Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify.
The summer reading runs through July 17th. Children who read 8 books from their recommended list will receive a free book.
Lakeshore Learning: Kids will make a Super Hero Puppet on May 24th. Stop by from 11am-3pm.
Michaels: Rainbow Loom Meet Up. Ages 6+ and the cost is $5 per child. Times and Dates vary. Contact your store for local times.
Barnes and Noble: There is a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday of each week with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities.
Plus, Join us the third Wednesday of every month for our American Girl Club! (5/21 at 6:30pm) Come and celebrate what it means to be an American Girl with crafts and activities every month.
Williams-Sonoma: Stop by to learn how to build a burger during the Junior Chef class. The event will be on May 24th at 9:30 am. Ages 8 and up.
Bass Pro Shop: Your kids can participate in the Free Kid’s Adventures Activities- treasure hunts, crafts and more. These are weekly activities and vary greatly by location. You can head over here to find your local store to confirm activities and times. And just a heads up from personal experience, it is best to get in line early. These events tend to be very popular.
