Reindeer Milk Bottles

Here is a cute and easy little treat to make for the kiddos this holiday season.

This would be a fun little surprise when they get home or to make for class parties.  I think these would be fun for family movie night too- especially when you are watching the holiday cartoons like Rudolph. You can fill these bottles with water, juice, milk or chocolate milk.

If the adults are drinking wine or champagne for Christmas, you might consider making these for the littles to feel like they got something special too.

Here is what you need:

  • Red Pom Balls (these were $.99 at Joann’s)
  • Brown Pipe Cleaners (also $.99 at Joann’s)
  • Small water bottles (mine are Target brand)
  • Googley eyes ($.99 at Joann’s or the Dollar store)
  • Ribbon (optional)
  • Hot Glue Gun

(Just to save you wandering around time, all the items I found at Joann’s were next to the felt squares.)

I started by filling the bottles with milk and then I added a few squirts of chocolate syrup.  I shook the milk well to incorporate.

Next assemble Rudolph with a nose and eyes using your hot glue gun. Next wrap a brown pipe cleaner around the neck of the bottle.  I started in the front so the ends meet in the back and then put a little dab of glue on the back of the bottle to hold the pipe cleaner in place.

Next I cut a second pipe cleaner and used each end to sort of fashion the little antlers.  Just place them in a T-shape and twist to make the sideways E for the antler. Last you can tie a little bow around the bottom of the bottle or leave him plain.

Here is what they look like without the extra little ribbon:

So cute either way and the kiddos will really love these.  My girls giggled like crazy when I brought these out.
