Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy. I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.
These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.
Joann’s: There will be a free Simple Sunday Make It-Take It event on October 20 from 2 to 3 p.m. Kids can create their own Monsters University puppet. It does say the event is while supplies last and to come early.
RC Wiley: Free pumpkins from 6-9 pm on October 14th. *Limit one per family. While supplies last. Not available at Outlet Stores or for online purchase.
Lifeway: Stop in at your local LifeWay Christian Store on Saturday, October 19 from 1-3 pm and participate in “KIDS AND DUCKS DAY” event for the whole family. Lots of FREE GIFTS for those that attend. Register to win a FREE “Uncle Si” Robertson standee. Kids can dress up like Uncle Si and have a chance to win some free gifts. Select stores will also have VeggieTales, Bob and Larry visiting the store. You can find out more details here.
Toys R Us: Free Cra-Z-Loom bracelet Making Event October 19th from 10 am to 12 pm. Make your own bracelet and take it home with you. This event is intended for children ages 6 and up. Limit one per child and while supplies last.
Lego Bricktober Event- Build and take home a free Lego DC Super Hero, The Joker Mini Mech Bot October 19 fro 12-2 pm.
Pottery Barn Kids: Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify.
Lakeshore Learning: Make a Creepy Creatures Mask October 19th from 11am-3pm. Kids become crafty creatures when they make this goofy monster mask they’ll love to wear!
Michaels: Kids Club Event-Duct Tape Costume October 19th. Be a crafty super hero for Halloween and for $3 more, you can purchase a t-shirt and create a complete costume. Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join.
Barnes and Noble: There is a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday of each week with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities. You should check your store because dates and times vary.
