Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy. I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.
These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.
Toys R Us: Lego Friends Build a Frame September 28th from 12-2 pm. Build and take home a free lego friends picture frame. Event intended for children, ages 5-up. Parental supervision required at all times. Quantities limited.
Free Cra-Z-Loom bracelet Making Event September 28th from 10 am to 12 pm. Make your own bracelet and take it home with you. This event is intended for children ages 6 and up. Limit one per child and while supplies last.
Pottery Barn Kids: Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify.
Lakeshore Learning: Kids put together an accordion-style book…then write and illustrate their very own tale! This event is September 28th 11am- 3pm.
Michaels: Kids Club Event-Make Silly Monsters on September 28th. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop. Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join.
Barnes and Noble: There is a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday of each week with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities. You should check your store because dates and times vary. (NOTE: We were told that this week’s theme would be Disney!)
There is a Lego Master Builder Academy through September 29th. Kids will learn sideways building and alternate uses while creating a robot with Lego Master Building Academy.This is for children ages 8 and up at select stores. Space is limited to 25 participants, so sign up early. Please call or stop by Customer Service Desk to register.
