Rohit, as I mentioned in the post it was an unadvertised deal from my store. Usually gift card promotions are nationwide but sometimes certain stores will start them later or not at all. Also sometimes it is just a matter of the store not putting up tags on the items too. In that case you usually have to take two up to a cashier and see when they scan them.
Thank you Charlene! My store in Wisconsin had the gift card deal. Our starting prices were $7.99, but I had a Target coupon of $2/2 exp. 8/17 from a deal I missed out on before. Mine came out to $1.39 each 🙂 yay
