I have another great giveaway from Grocery Outlet stores plus some great deals to tell you about this week. I have a new store that just opened in my area (Roseville Square in Roseville, CA) so I stopped by last night to see what deals I could find.
Now keep in mind that all the Grocery Outlet stores are a little different so you don’t find the exact same thing each time you shop but this will give you an idea of why it is worth checking out your local store.
I found tons of great deals- Nutrigrain Bars for just $1.00 per box, Strawberries (1 lb) or Raspberries (6oz) for $.99, lots of organic items such as flaxseed and coconut oil and cereals. I found little apple crunchers from Earthbound Organics for $4.99 for 10 packs. Those usually sell for $1 per pack- they also had lunchbox size snack packs of Annie’s crackers or single serving size Annie’s items for $.33 each. I spotted Applegate sausage for $1.49- this brand has really high quality Nitrate free and organic lunch meats, hot dogs etc… and it is usually on the more expensive side. I see the products closer to $5 most of the time.
If you are getting ready for Back to School, this week’s ad has two deals I wanted to mention. Get Jif Peanut Butter for $1.79 with in ad coupon and get 2 lbs of cheese for $4.99 with coupon. Great prices!
And if you are curious about what I bought- it was a great trip!
I was happy to see Market pantry frozen spinach for $.69. My Target stopped carrying spinach and I have been so grouchy about it. Immaculate Baking Company Crescent rolls for $1.49- these are free of junk ingredients and usually a lot more expensive. Annie’s pretzels for $1.49 and the most exciting things- Straus Family yogurt for $2.99. This is a really nice local company and I occasionally buy the dairy products for significantly more at Whole Foods. Tillamook Cheese this was 2.5 lbs for $6.99 which is larger and about $2 less then I pay at Costco. Tide 11 load HE laundry soap for $16.99 and a Downy Infusions 154 load fabric softener for $9.99.
So not a bad trip- the total was $40.63 and if you register for the mailing list they send you coupons. I had a $5 off coupon so $35.63!

I have started requesting a mailing address on giveaway forms. The reason for this is that many, many, many prizes go unclaimed on My Frugal Adventures because people don’t respond to my emails. I have to find an alternate winner and it takes a significant amount of time to go back and forth. Entering your address is totally optional but if you do win, it allows me to put the prize directly in the mail to you. Your information is used for no other purpose and the spreadsheet is viewed only by me.
For a bonus entry:
- a fan of My Frugal Adventures on Facebook
- or if you subscribe to MFA via email
- or if you are a follower over on Pinterest!
- Following on Instagram!
This giveaway ends on August 9th at 4pm PST. GOOD LUCK!
**This post is sponsored by Grocery Outlet. All opinions expressed are my own. The giveaway winner will be selected randomly and will be contacted via email. If an address is provided, the gift card will be sent automatically via USPS.

I just was thinking that you don’t post your shopping trips any more, and here it is 😉 I’m glad you doing it again, Charlene

Tatyana, I really don’t post shopping trips. 😛 It is just boring to see what I buy now- lots of Costco and Sprouts and a little Target. I try to buy the good prices and I don’t use nearly as many coupons as I used too so I think it wouldn’t be very interesting :).

I bought 20 boxes of breakfast sausage last night and I’m still excited about the deal this morning! Thanks for sharing deals, your blog is the one I count on to point me in the right {savings} direction!

LOL- they must have thought you were a nut ;). But you absolutely never see discounts on Applegate so I don’t blame you at all.

I really appreciated the information and shopping trip details you provided for the Grocery Outlet. I happen to live pretty close to that store so this is especially helpful. I look forward to more shopping trip scenerios including from the Grocery Outlet.
