Target Cartwheel: New Savings Program

Target just launched this new program called Cartwheel.

This is a program with Facebook and here is the gist:

You first want to register for the program here.

Next you search through the offers they have available. Click the ones you want and then when you go shopping, open this up on your phone and the cashier can scan your phone at checkout.  You will see the savings reflected on your bill.

I believe you can print off your page of offers too- there will be a bar code that the cashier can scan.  So it looks like you can use this without a smart phone.

Now this is all connected to Facebook so the important note is that your activity will post to your timeline.  I absolutely hate that feature on Facebook but for some of you this might not be a biggie at all.

When you register you have the option to okey for them to post on your behalf or to skip that feature.

If you click on settings on the bottom left corner you can make some adjustments to what is public and private.

There are some nice deals here- for example I added the 5% off Advil for Children.  There is an awesome gift card deal with children’s Advil this week so that makes the deal even better.

I also grabbed the 5% off Market Pantry eggs coupon.  We usually buy organic eggs to the tune of $4 per carton so this is a nice coupon to get a small savings on that.

You can head over here to check it all out and to get registered.

Can these be used on top of coupons? or will it be a one or the other kind of thing?

ShannonA, yes. You can use one cartwheel coupon, one manufacturers coupon, and one Target coupon on one single item.
