You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!
Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!
And you can see the current list of Safeway catalina offers here.
HuH?? Am I missing something??
Oreos – $2.50
Use $1/2 Just for U coupon
or Use $3/2 Seattle’s Best Coffee printable

Last week the Totinos had peelie coupons on them for free 2-liters of any variety of Squirt soda
Robin,
Your comment comes across as snide to me. It is clearly just a mistake so your patience is very much appreciated as these ads require more hours of work then you can imagine.
If you would like a longer explanation of what caused the error, there is a coupon database that I use and I pay each month a fee to allow readers to use it as well. The coupon database offers most of the coupons that are available. I also pay a fee to use a plug in that allows readers to print a shopping list to use in store. As I am going through the ads I can copy a coupon and paste it into a slot to create the shopping list. Many times the coupon will not copy when I click it so I either have to click repeatedly and then paste or I have to manually type in the information. On occasion the coupon I am trying to copy over will not have saved and when I go to paste it, the last thing on my clipboard will paste instead. That is the case for this matchup. The majority of the time I notice it and correct it but in this one instance I did not catch it.
Most of my readers are pretty sharp people and would recognize a mistake and not assume I was suggesting you use a coffee coupon to purchase cookies.
By simply pointing out the errors to me, I can correct them. Just so you are aware I started this ad at 8am and finished it after 11am. This is grocery ad one of four that I need to get done today in addition to regular posting. I apologize for mistakes that I may make but this is a very time consuming process and I a human being and mistakes will happen.
I meant nothing side in my comment – Sorry it came across that way. I have been a follower for a long time. I thought maybe I was missing something in some deal… with all the buy 4 of different products who knows if these were both part of the somoething. I was simply confused.
for the buy 2 promo on paper towels…my safeway had $2 peelie coupons on the brawny 12 big rolls!
as a side note, thank you for all the time/energy/work you put into this blog. i know it must be a thankless job most of the time but i couldn’t even begin to calculate all the savings to our family from your posts. so, thank you!!
thanks for the early start on tomorrow’s ad matchups. i find i have to get my printables done early or they run out sometimes.
on the Smuckers I don’t think the Sugar Free is included. i checked last time they had it on sale and the SF is only 12.75 oz. i am still gonna check the shelf though to make sure they didnt add it in anyway. 🙂
There’s a FREE protein shake hidden deep in the Coupon Center:
Go to J4u Coupon Center => Go to Personal Care Tab.
“One FREE bottle CalNaturale Svelte Chocolate or Cappuccino Protein Shake”
Thanks, Charlene for all the time dedicated to us – your blog followers.
It is very much appreciated. 🙂
Double check your Safeway e-coupons. I had $1 off Charmin, bringing the price down to $9.99 for 24 double rolls. This was in the coupon savings section, not J4U.
Also a big thanks to you Charlene! You have saved my family so much money!
Thanks, Charlene, for the match ups. I shopped today at Safeway (Bollinger Rd, San Jose). They had clearance 18 pack of Goody Ouchless hair elastics $1.29. I grabbed one and there were still a few left. I don’t know if it is on clearance at other locations.
(I had shopped earlier today at Target and CVS looking for hair elastics but no deals. I’m glad I waited to purchase at Safeway!)
Thank you for all of your hard work! You are my favorite blog for match ups, it is clear that you spend time doing it and making this easy for beginners. When I have friiends that want to learn about couponing I send them here because your blog is where I learned. Thank you!
I always forget but the $1 off luvs coupon says it’s a one-time coupon, so let’s say I buy 4 packs will it take a $1 off each one or just one of them. I can never remember;)) thank you.
Jessica,
Another reader said that if you find all caps in the coupon description it means one only. In this case they are yelling ONE!! at us ;). I think that is how it works. It confuses me too. You could always grab a few packs and just have those ring up first and then you will immediately see if the coupon is working for each one. If it is not just tell the cashier you only want ONE! :D. If that seems embarrassing you could always do the UScan so you don’t have people up in your business behind you.
Hey thanks Stephanie! You made my day 😉
Charlene dido for me too about all of the hard work you put into this blog and how you have saved my family hundreds of dollars since I started reading and using your suggestions. Just to let your readers know that I have gotten some great deals using just for U, but I have had to pay close attention to my receipts before I left the store because I have not gotten all of the deals that my just for U said I should. But when I have gone over to customer services they have always resolved them in my favor. Make sure you always have a print out of your deals from Safeway’s site before talking to customer service.
Charlene, thank you for the tip about all cap in the coupon description! You don’t know how appreciative from all of us when we look at your blog, especially the coupon match up. You really help us save a lot of money.
I cannot tell the difference between a JYF coupon and a manufacturer coupon. Is there a secret? Last week I added what I thought were JFY Qs only to have them turn out to be manufacturer Qs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note, thank you for breaking down the ads every week. I’ve saved a lot of money by following your blog!
