Safeway Ad and Deals 3/20-3/26

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card to take advantage of the sale prices!

Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

Does anyone know yet if there is an activation fee for the Visa card deal? I sure hope there isn’t one 😉

Is $3.49 a good price for Diamond Walnuts 8 oz?
I don’t buy them often, but I’d love to for baking.
    They are $4.49 -$1/1 either a printable @coupons dot com OR A digital J4u.

@Endcapps. That makes them $7/lb., which is about what Trader Joe’s sells them for. I’ve noticed that the price of walnuts has really gone up in the last year. I’ve seen them closer to $8-$10 a pound elsewhere. I think they are about $6 something a lb. at Costco, but that’s for a $3 pod bag.

Lisa G, thx for your help! I’ll go ahead & grab walnuts at Safeway this week :). I was afraid Costco would be cheaper, but I don’t need 3lbs worth.

Lisa G, the Visa Card does have a $4.95 Activation Fee indicated on the flipside. I checked for you during my trip today 🙂
