{CLOSED} Giveaway: Grocery Outlet Gift Cards

**This giveaway is now closed.

I was super excited at Grocery Outlet this month because I got an amazing deal on Body Shop products of all things!

I happen to be a Body Shop addict and the products can be pretty darn pricey.   I actually stopped by to get the great deal on Tillamook cheese that was in the ad running through March 3rd.

Tillamook sliced cheese 2lbs is $5.99 with printable coupon.  That is a fantastic price.  Well my store was out but not to worry I found tons of other great deals.

So my favorite spot to check is the health and beauty aisles.  Sometimes Grocery Outlet gets things from Canada and I have seen products at huge, huge discounts and stuff you can’t find in the US.  (Like cool Nivea stuff).

This time around though I was shocked to see Body Shop Body Butter for $3.99.  Now I use body butter each and every night and it is $20 at Body Shop.  So this is 80% off the regular price!

I snatched a few up and here are a few other things I found:

Fresh Salsa $1.99
Tillamook Cheese Squares $1.99
Immaculate baking Company Whole Grain cookies $1.99
Immaculate Baking Company Scones $1.99
2 Body Shop Body Butter $3.99
Tillamook Jack Cheese $2.49
Girls Hair Barrettes $.99
(2) Boxes Freezer Bags $.99 each
Tostitos Southwestern Dip $1.99 (this will be good on chicken tacos next week)
– not pictured 1 gallon milk $2.99
Subtotal $26.38 and in the mail I received a $5 off coupon
Final Price: $21.38

So can you believe I got 2 bags of groceries for basically the same price as one of those Body Butters? Yeah!  Those Immaculate baking items are normally really expensive.  My local grocery store has those items for about $5 so that was a real steal.

Just a reminder that Grocery Outlet has tons of deeply discounted merchandise and things change all the time.  They buy up lots of product when packages change or new varieties are introduced or when other retailers just can’t sell the merchandise they buy.  There is nothing wrong with the products but you do want to pay close attention to expiration dates before you stock up on anything.

AND if you want a chance to win one of (2) $25 Grocery Outlet gift cards, just leave a comment below and let me know what your favorite bargain was this week.  (From your own shopping trips- or if you skipped the stores that is OK too!)

For a bonus entry: leave a second comment letting me know if you are a fan of My Frugal Adventures on Facebook or if you subscribe to MFA via email or if you are a follower over on Pinterest! (Just one is fine- no need to do all).

The giveaway ends on Wednesday 6th at 4pm PST.

Good Luck!

My favorite bargain is from CVS. The Advil Congestion get $5 extrabucks when you buy $15. I went it on a store with early activation on the previous Saturday (2/23) so that I can use my CVS coupon $3 off $15 cold/cough items which expires on 2/23!
    Here’s the break down:
    3 Advil Congestion $5 each = $15
    – 3 $3 Advil Congestion MQ
    – $3 off $15 CVS Q
= $3 OOP and get $5 db! Yay!

I went in to our Grocery Outlet looking for Tillamook cheese and was out of luck, too, but I did find a six-count box of Blue Bunny frozen yogurt bars for $1.99. They’re low(er)-carb, gluten-free — and pretty tasty!

I love Grocery Outlet. I started shopping with them over twenty five years ago in Oregon and Washington. So glad we have a new one close by. What do I get there? Everything! I stocked up on Lipton ice tea in bottles 3/$1. Frozen foods are a great price, especially the ice cream. I love that I get $3 coupons to use on my next trip too! You just have to go once or twice a month a look around. There is always some great bargain.

My best bargain at Grocery Outlet last week was large artisan pizza crusts for $1. There were 2 in a package so 0.50 each! I started making my own pizzas for the first time as a result and they are better than anything I got outside 🙂

I go there all the time. I can only find Habarnero grated cheese there, nowhere else. And it’s so inexpensive compared to cheeses elsewhere.
I bought some Hillshire Farm lunchmeat today for only $1.99; it’s about $2.99 on SALE elsewhere.
