You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

Here are three quick notes:
1. Get a $10 catalina when you spend $75 from Wed through Saturday.
2. Get a $1 off fresh produce coupon here.
3. If you load the $5 Friday deals to your account and use them Sat or Sun, check your receipt carefully! There seems to be a glitch and the $5 Friday offers specifically are not working properly for the entire weekend. Safeway is aware of the issue and supposedly working to correct it. I was overcharged $6 on 2 items alone last weekend.
And you can see the current list of Safeway catalina offers here.
Any other great deals you can see?

Yup, the $5 Friday deal I loaded to my account didnt work on Sun, check your receipt carefully! It was frustrating to have to wait on a very long customer service line!

The lady at customer service said that for some reason the coupons are not working on the day they expire. I am told that they are working on it.
Cathy says
in the mail today 10/4 i received 4 safeway coupons valid 10/1 to 10/31
20% off fresh produce
20% off paper towels and bath tissues
20% off meat and seafood
20% off laundry detergent and household cleaners
are there items that you recommend to use these coupons and stack with manufacturer coupons?
Charlene says
Gosh Cathy maybe hold onto to those? If you have a freezer I bet we start seeing turkey sales right at the end of the month. That could be an idea. The Sparkle paper towels seem to be on $5 friday a lot. If you need pumpkins that produce is a good one.

hmmm…our bonus for spending $75 this week is a 30 cent gas reward. I’d rather have the $10 catalina.

Charlene, what happened to the asterisks you use to use in your match-ups? Do you have another method of indicating to your readers what is considered a good price? Thanks kindly.
Charlene says
Joanna,
I just list the good deals. If it is on there it is a good deal 😉
