If you have some Disney DVDs or BluRays that are scratched up, there is a program from Disney to replace your disks.
This is not a free program but it is certainly cheaper then buying a new movie!
You can get a DVD for $6.95 or get a Bluray for $9.95 plus you need to send off your scratched movie so a little extra for postage.
You need to mail off your check plus the movie to:
WDSD Consumer Relations
Attn: Disc Replacement Program
P.O. Box 3100
Neenah, WI 54957
and you also need to include this Disc Replacement Program form.
I haven’t tried this yet but I want to. We bought a used copy of Sleeping Beauty awhile back and it has never once played properly.
The one thing I don’t know is about the Disney movies in the vault. The Sleeping Beauty for example is in the vault so they may not replace those titles.
This says that there is a limit of one replacement per calendar year and that they will offer a similar version of the same title if the one you send is not available.
I got in touch with Disney last Monday to just confirm this program was still available and they gave me this number if anyone has additional questions not covered in the links above: 800 723-4763.
And don’t forget if you go to the movies to see a Disney film you can get Disney Movie Rewards points!
