Only select cities got an extra deal this week from CVS. ย I randomly checked 6 ads around the country and only saw this listed in one of those ads so you really want to be sure to check your local ad before you head out.
Tom’s of Maine Toothpaste or Deodorant is $3.19
Get a $1 ECB back (limit 2)
Use the $1/1 Tom’s coupon from 6/17 SS
or Use the $2.50/1 Tom’s Deodorant coupon from 6/17 SS
Final price: Free deodorant or $1.19 for toothpaste
You could buy one of each item and the final price after coupons and ECB is $.88 for both!
If you don’t have this deal in your CVS ad, there is another option at Rite Aid:

I live in California – in the Central Valley – about an hour from Sacramento and a little over an hour from San Francisco…..I just had to look at my ad because I was excited about this deal! Unfortunately, this deal is NOT listed in my ad! Somehow it seems like I don’t get a lot of either “deals” and/or coupons that a lot of other people get! ๐
Bummer…..I wish things weren’t “regional” – it would make for much easier planning, huh? LOL! ๐

Yes Tammy, it would be easier for me for sure! You can still do the Rite Aid deal. I live in Sacramento and it is in my ad so it should be in yours too.

Charlene – I checked my ad last night (trying to figure my transactions!) and saw that my Clariol is listed in the ad at $5.99 with no ECB’s producing. I saw somewhere that it was $6.99 and the person was going to use a “$2.00 of any $5.99+ Hair Color” CVS Q + stack with a $2.00 Clariol MQ. I have the $2.00 off Hair Color CVS, so it’s still a good deal for me for hair dye (which, unfortunately, is a necessity!) :(, but was just wondering if YOUR ad has it marked at $5.99 or $6.99. (Curious to see if we, at least, are getting the same ad!)
Honestly, I have never shopped at Rite Aid. Just started couponing not long ago (8 mo. or so) and started at CVS (because they opened a new one about a block from my house) and at Raley’s where I do my grocery shopping. Tried to venture to Walgreen’s once and, well, let’s just say that was a disaster and tried a few times at Target and my local Target is definately not “coupon user friendly”, so I haven’t tried Rite Aid. Maybe I should look into their policies, etc. Is it easy for you to shop at Rite Aid?
Thanks Charlene for all your help. I truly appreciate your great site and all you do! ๐
