I just wanted to let everyone know that this brand has recently been linked to kidney failure in dogs: http://vitals.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/03/13/10657635-3-big-brands-may-be-tied-to-chicken-jerky-illness-in-dogs-fda-records-show?lite Right now it is a good idea to avoid any dog treats that are produced in China, especially those with chicken.

Thanks Charlene! I am going to look for the meatball ones, as I have heard the chicken jerky in this brand and the Waggin Trails chicken jerky have caused kidney failure in hundreds of dogs:( Just wanted other pet owners to know! It’s so sad and I wouldn’t want this to happen to my dogs or anyone elses!

This brand of treat has been known to make pets ill. They are made in China and imported to the US.

    Bonnie,

Yes I had heard that so I haven’t posted deals about it before. The packages in my store all said “Made in USA” very prominently. I would not buy any treats made in China regardless of the brand as they have all been tied to the illness:

Thank you Chrys. That article I referenced as well. You just need to look for where they are made. I did not mention this coupon or deal before but I checked my store and not one package said Made in China.
