Here is another fun giveaway for today. There is a new product from Febreze called car vent clips. These are obviously designed as a subtle way to keep the car smelling wonderful all the time.
Now I don’t know about you, but I have two children and no matter what I do the car seems to need constant attention. I normally don’t like a lot of heavy fragrances but I was very delighted to get a sample of the air vent clips in the mail just yesterday.
Just pick the fragrance of your choice and pop it onto any vent in the car. It should work for about 30 days. You can adjust the intensity of the fragrance to suit your needs.
I have used these car vent things in the past and I always found them to be big and bulky and annoying. The Febreze is very compact and I was actually thinking the air vent clip was just a refill pack because it was so small.

I don’t let my kids ear in the car, unless we are on a road trip. Sometimes I feel mean doing it…but I once had a friend that got rats in her car and tore up her upholstery–since then I have been paranoid!
If my children spill something and I can’t get the smell out. I put a little cat litter in the end of a panty hose and stick it under the seat. It always sucks up the smell. this works great for cars with a smoke smell

I would love these! I finally gave in and now drive a minivan, it is full of sporting equipment for my two girls. Between Karate, softball (yes, even in winter), skiing and the collection of whatever else lands in the van this would be such a wonderful treat to smell something other than that ‘sport’ funky smell. I have no suggestions how to keep the vehicle clean with little ones, the big ones are just as messy. I also follow you on Facebook.

Hey Charlene, I have 3 boys, one in 2nd grade one that just turned 3 and another that’s 1. My wife and I can’t seem to keep our car smelling clean either! One thing I normally do is keep a box of baking soda, it sometimes works but i’d really like to win this Febreeze gift pack! Thanks and keep up the great work 🙂

These look like they’d be great! I live on a farm… So my car always stinks!
Charlene, I always kept a blanket under the carseat to catch the crumbs and drink splills. Spray the car upholstery with Scotch-Gard first for easy cleanup later. On the floor, try to find big floor mats that cover all of the carpet so when you need to vacuum, you just lift the mat out and shake it off. I would love to try the Febreze samples. 🙂
