Well you could possibly get a great deal on Crayola items right now if you move quick. There is a good chance these orders will be cancelled so I wouldn’t get too invested in this deal but hopefully it does work out.
Toys R Us has Crayola items priced at Buy 1 Get 2 Free. For some reason the more expensive items are the ones that are free- so you can add a pack of the cheapest crayons to your cart for $1.29 and get 2 more items free!
A ton of items are sold out and personally I have now had 2 orders cancelled when I tried to order for shipment (Operation games and Leapfrog toys) so this time around I ordered to pick up in store.
Here is what I ordered:
1 pack of 24 Crayons at $1.29 (Item #519669)
Once you add that to your cart just look for the notation about Buy 1 Get 2 Free and click the link. That will bring up all the other Crayola items to choose from.
Since I did in store pickup a lot of stuff was not available, but I got the 64ct pack of crayons at $4.99 and the washable triangle crayons at $5.69.
My cart automatically adjusted once the 3rd item was added and my final price was $1.38 for all 3 items.
Now we shall see if this really does work out! I hope so, we always need crayons around here.

I got the 24 count (#519669) for $1.29 and added the Crayola Twistables Crayons (#3481881 for $4.99) and Crayola Pip-Squeaks Colored Pencils (#197543 for $4.99). My grand total, after tax, was $1.40!

I got 3 of the 96 count crayons for $7.67 after tax and in store pickup. Ebates is 7%. We homeschool so we use alot of crayons! Thanks!!

Nice! It worked twice, but as of now (6:30am in CA), they have changed the deal to limit the range of items from $6.19-$6.99.
Can’t find the 24 ct crayons anywhere on there, even when I search with the item number, and sort from low price to high. Who knows! Tried adding 3 items to my cart that are participating in the promotion, but it shows my total for all the items, it did not adjust down 🙁
When you click on the details link about the promotion on the product page, it says the lowest priced items will be free, it also gives a price range, and it looks like all the items have to be in the same price range to qualify, ie 4.19-4.99 or 6.19-6.99. When you click on the link from the details page it gives you a list of other participating products that are in that price range. When I added 3 items from the same price range to my cart, I the 2 highest priced items were free, so it looks like at this point items have to be in the same price range for the promotion to work, but you do only have to pay for the least expensive.
The Order that I placed last night for Store Pickup got cancelled 🙁
Order I put in this morning using the 24 ct crayons was cancelled.
Oh darn. I picked up my order this morning so mine went through.
I got the confirmation for the first order, but not for the second 🙁
How would I know if it got canceled?
My order went through and was confirmed but then I got an email this morning stating that my order was cancelled. Oh well. Good deal for those lucky ones that got it.
i did my orders last nite @ around 1:30am est…got both my confirmation letters:) phew. glad i chk frugal adventure bfore i shut down the computer every nite…u r addictive:)
