Whole Foods will have a sale on whole chicken on Friday only. The chicken is not organic but it is all natural, no antibiotics or byproducts in the feed- so a very high quality chicken.
This is whole, uncooked chicken and there is a limit of 10 per person. At this price, it is very affordable for everyone!
Since the limit per person is so high, I am guessing they will have a lot of inventory. I just wanted to remind you though that they do not offer rainchecks and when a store sells out, it is out and that is that.
I dragged the girls to Whole Foods last Saturday for the turkey sale and got there at 9.30 am (the sale was 8-11am) and they were completely out. Apparently people were lined up outside the store before the sale started. So it is always a good idea to get there as early as you can or you can always call ahead to confirm inventory if you will be going after work.

So sad to hear you didn’t get your organic turkey @ WF. Hopefully you’ll hunt down another organic turkey (no pun intended) for reasonable price!

Well it doesn’t upset me because I don’t eat turkey but the family might be grumpy 😛 It really was only $15 savings so I don’t see myself lining up on a freezing cold day to wait outside for the deal 😉
I posted on Facebook that as a courtesy to customers they might put a sign outside indicating the sale ended. I said we rushed there from soccer with two small children and it was a bit of an ordeal and then the Whole Foods people apologized and said there would be a gift card waiting for me at customer service. How nice is that?!
