Gap Black Friday Sale: Up to 60% off

The Gap announced they are starting Gap Black Friday sales  today with up to 60% off in stores only. The offer is valid 11/22/11 through 11/27/11 on regularly priced merchandise at Gap, GapBody, GapKids, and babyGap stores only.

They don’t have very specific information available but hopefully there are some good deals.  It says “up to 60% off” which means not everything will be on sale and I am assuming this won’t apply to clearance items.

Gap will have some doorbuster deals on Black Friday and Saturday that I am not allowed to publish quite yet but I didn’t see anything to really get too excited about.  Hopefully they will announce more sales soon.

The one nice thing about this sale is that no coupon is needed so you should be able to stack the $5 off $5 Gap Kids coupon with this sale!

I think all the holiday clothes this year from Gap are so adorable I am going to try and hit my local store before the gym tonight and I will report back what I find.  If I had a little guy he would be getting those boots for sure.

Stumbled upon this sale today and GAP kids wasn’t too impressive but there was a lot that was 60% off at GAP in the women’s department. A lot of cute sweaters. At GAP kids they had fleece separates, girls skirts and some baby snow onsies for 60% but everything else was either 40% or 20%.

It’s a bummer there was no additional % off of clearance items, but I still found some great deals! Toddler tulle skirts and all leggings were 60% off, (that makes leggings about $6 / pair) most tops & jeans were 40% off.
Dresses for girls were only 20% off. On the upside, my gap had all the sizes I needed in stock, and there were no lines. 🙂
Also, if you use your gap card they are giving an extra 10% off, or if you open one today, you get an extra 25% off.

I just went to gap over my lunch break and was not very impressed. They did have some denim and sweaters 60% off, though.

Alison, did you go to Gap or Gap Kids?

Oh Erin I know those skirts! yeah! Those are the ones I wanted 🙂 I like how they are not as puffy. My 2 year old gets up in the middle of every single night and sneaks to put on her big puffy red Christmas tutu. We wake up to find her in her sequin tutu over her jammies so I think I need to add another skirt to her collection 😛

That’s adorable about the tutu! I also stumbled on sale today at Gap Kids while at mall, was looking for a pair of jeans for my chunky monkey; they were 40% off. Unfortunatrly they fufnt have his size and I was told would need to order them online, but no sale there! The only 60% off items I saw in boys dept were fleece tops and some t-shirt over long sleeved thermal (with skull or ski logos on) Priced @ $16.95 and 60% off that, figured not too bad for Gap. The majority of items were 20-40% off. I might actually go back and get a few more for gifts, guess it can’t hurt.

Heads up on the $5 texted coupon… It did not work for me because the fine print says only combinable with ONE other offer. Apparently there are several going on? I bought 2 pairs of tights for my little girl. Apparently if you bought 2 of the tights it would be $18 (vs. $24) (OFFER 1) AND additional 40% off (OFFER 2). Hope this makes sense…

Lucia, I used it tonight. I guess it must vary by store.
