I just got back from Target and here is one quick update. This is an unadvertised deal and once again based on the prices at my store. You may not find the exact same deal at yours.
Curel lotion is advertised as offering a $5 gift card when you buy 2.
The smallest size lotion is 6oz for $2.99
Use (2) $1/1 Curel Moisturizer, exp. 12/3/11 (SS 10/09/11)
or Use (2) $1/1 Curel Skincare Product printable
Pay $3.98 and get a $5 gift card back
So a $1 moneymaker!
**Some areas got a $1 Target store coupon in the 9/11 SS so you might see if you got lucky! This would be a $3 moneymaker.
Now I actually bought 2 just to be totally certain and it worked perfectly.
There is certainly a chance that Target will end this promotion early or they will remove these smaller sized lotions from the sale.
Even without coupns these are only .49 so a great deal no matter what. You can buy more than 2 in one transaction and still get the gift cards and you can use the gift card to pay for 2 more as long as you do separate transactions.

Unfortunately, there was no Curel left at my Target, but I was able to get some gift cards! I thought this was pretty good… I bought 4 375 count q-tips for $3.29 each less 4 recycle bank coupons of $.60 and 2 Target coupons for $1, so $8.64 and a $5 GC back, then I bought 4 dove shamp/cond with 2bogo coupons so $7 and a $5GC back, then I bought 2 large 4.99 Vaseline lotions and used 2 bogo coupons that gave be 2 10oz bottles free (that went toward another GC) and got. $5 CG Ffor the 2 large lotions. Lastly I bought 2 more shamp/cond for 3.5 (w/a bogo coupon) and had the 2 free lotions that made a 4th $5GC…. So total was $29.14 and $20 in GC… Not amazing, but I got to use them on toilet paper…hehehe
The curel 6 oz were $3.29 each at my Target in NC. I bought two, used 2 $1 coupons, paid $5.55 and I got the $5 gift card.

Just did this deal today and it was awesome! I had these 2$ coupons in my binder (no clue from where… maybe free samples). They were 3.09 at my store in MA, so I ended up paying 2.18$ and getting a 5$ gift card! Even better I had another gift card so I paid nothing out of pocket and made 2.82$!
Now, I have to share the goods with my mother who cam along on the trip. She doesn’t coupon “of course”, but gets jealous when I get awesome deals. When it’s free I am happy to oblige!
