Ok so this deal is only going to apply to a small number of you but it was too good of a deal to not post.
Those of you that have Just for U in your area (and I believe it is only in Chicago, Northern CA and Hawaii still) might check your accounts for a personal price on Skippy PB.
I have a personal price of $1.49 right now. There is a $.60/2 Skippy coupon available which makes the price $1.19 each.
Now reader Denise discovered a hidden catalina for $1 back when you buy 2 Skippy Natural. So I went to test this out and here is how it looked for me:
Buy 2 Skippy Natural at $1.49 (my personal price)
Used $.60/2 Skippy coupon
Paid $2.38 and get back a $1 catalinaFinal Price: $.69 each
I can’t seem to find any information about this catalina so it is only for the Natural varieties and unfortunately I can’t find any dates about when this ends.
Now if you do not have Just for U- the regular price on Skippy right now is shockingly enough $4.79. The only way this deal works is if your area has Just for U implemented and if you got this price in your account.
If you do not have Just for U, you might consider grabbing that coupon anyway. Some areas will get a Target store coupon in the 10/16 newspapers that should make Skippy a pretty good deal.
Also, there is a chance this is a nationwide catalina so if you have another grocery store in your area with more reasonable prices on Skippy right now you might get lucky and find this bonus cat!
Supposedly the prices on peanut butter are going up so now is a good time to star scouting out deals.
(Thanks Denise!)

I was checking my Just 4 U account and I do have the special price Skippy. I also found a loadable coupon (via Safeway) for $1.00 off 2 Skippy peanut butters. I try to be careful on which coupons I load on to my card via the Safeway site since it seems to void when I try to use paper coupon if I have already loaded the coupon. Usually I have better paper coupons…not in this case though. Thanks for posting this!!!

My personal price for the Skippy is 1.79 but then I also have a coupon for 1.00 off 2 Skippy PB loaded on my card. If both the personal price and the coupon loaded on my card are used it will only be .79 each after Catalina. Which would be better than if I used the .60/2 IP Coupon. I am pretty sure I read in their policy you cannot use a mgf coupon plus the coupon loaded on the card.

Natalie that us right. I think coupon network might have updated today with the new Catalina info.

Has anyone tried to buy more than 2 and kept getting the JFU price? I mean in different transactions.
Because on my JFU it’s written both limit 2 and unlimited; kind of confusing??????
Thanks

When you say a “hidden” Cat, does that mean it wouldn’t be on the Coupon Network site? I was looking and didn’t see it. I’m in San Jose and have the price. Are these regional? Thanks.

Do you happen to know the limit? Is it limit 2?
Elizabeth says
Charlene, the link to the .60/2 coupon does not link to a PNB coupon. It’s just Unilever’s home page.

Also, it looks like that Personalized Price expires at midnight Tuesday night, so we’d better do the deal in the next few days. Thanks for this, Charlene! GREAT deal!

I have skippy PB Just for you for $1.49…buy 2 for $2.98 – $1/2 loadable through safeway…$1.98 – $1 catalina??=$0.98 for 2! I’m hoping that catalina works when i go to try this because that is one heck of a deal! 🙂

Thank Denise 😉

Ok I can see the coupon still. Did you wait for the page to load and then you should see 4 coupons- it took about 40 seconds for the page to completely load for me.
Charlene says
KB- they do not actually post every offer on that site only some of them. The reader that passed this on to me was in SF so I bet it works for you.
Charlene says
Well the unlimited should be what counts but it is weird that it says both. You can always go to check out and enter your club card and have the PB scanned very first thing to see what the price is. Just takes a second to have them removed from the order if the limit is indeed 2.
Elizabeth says
I’m a doofuss. I see the coupons now — I just needed to scroll down. Sheesh.

For anyone that has both the unlimited and “limit 2” restriction, I actually sent them an email about another item with the same problem. They answered that whatever number is listed is correct, not the unlimited. 🙁

According to Hannaford’s website: “Skippy® Natural Peanut Butter Spreads- Buy 2 Skippy® Natural Peanut Butter Spreads SAVE $1.00 ON YOUR NEXT SHOPPING ORDER- Expiration Date: 10/29/2011”
Charlene says
Oh thanks Amy 🙂

I did try to scan a third jar and it ringed at the regular price, so it was indeed limit 2.
And for those who were wondering, the personalized price worked and the $1/2 coupon also that was loaded on my card, so it ended up being $.98 for 2 after coupons and cat.

My $1.49 personalized price re-sets every day. I’ve done this Just4U Skippy Deal 3 times this week on 3 separate days. Coupons & Cats & Just4U price worked every day. So, for me, the “Limit 2” & “Unlimited” translates into “Limit of 2 per transaction, per day.” I refer to my Just4U Shopping List (red button), and if my Skippy personalized price appears on my List then it confirms I’m good to go. Sometimes Just4U gives us “One-time only”-tagged deals, then those disappear off my Shopping List (red button) after one transaction.

Hey Charlene!
How much oz Skippy peanut butter we have to buy to get $1catlina ?
or its on any two Skippy natural butter ?
Thank you
Charlene says
Panchu,
Here is what I said in the post: $1 back when you buy 2 Skippy Natural.
Does that answer your question? My store only had one size available in creamy or crunchy.

I did this deal today. I had the $1.49 price on 2 Skippy Peanut Butters with the $1 off coupon on SW online. I got the $1 catalina which will expire in seven days (10/23). So $ .98 for 2 Skippy Naturals which was great.
I didn’t read the blog before I went to the store and was unaware of the “personalized price” price reset provided by Endcapps. (Thanks-I will be prepared for next time.:) So I also bought two more bottles at $1.90 each with the $.60 coupon and got another $1 cat. Those ended up being a $1.10 each which is still not bad for natural peanut butter.
