Lowe’s Free Kid’s Workshop 10/22

There is another free Lowe’s Clinic coming this Saturday.  This time around the kids get to build a Monster Truck and I can say I have never seen a pink Monster Truck so that is something to look forward to.

This is actually a really cool freebie because the kids can make this for free and it comes with glow in the dark stickers and flashing lights.

The Build n Grow Clinic is 10am-12pm on Saturday only.

Get more information on the free Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinics here.

My girls are staying with Grandpa on Saturday and I know Lowe’s is his Happy Place so I hope he gets a chance to take them to the clinic.

You can preregister for the Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic here.

My friend told me this is a great deal but that you need to register online first. There are not more than fifty or so slots that will get supplies. First come first serve I guess. 🙂

I tried to register as soon as I saw your post on FB and none of the stores in my area have spots. 🙁

We have been doing these for about a year with our kids. We have found that you need to register as soon as an event is posted. They will hold your kits for 15 minutes, per the registration form. After that the kts are available to walk ins first come first get. Our store has become very well organized with a line for online registered people and a seperate line for walk ins. The kids love the projects!

I tried to register yesterday when I saw the post and none of the stores in my area came up as having spots. But I tried again this morning and all three stores came up. So it seems to be worth it to check a few times.

Careful…people might want to double check that Lowe’s is still there before they go! I saw about a week ago on our local news (Chicago area) that a few stores around us closed. We had signed up for the Build and Grow Clinic and got an email confirmation that we were scheduled to come…and I called the number to verify and the store is definately closed for good…I can’t believe they are letting email confirmations go out with closed stores! Yikes!

My sisters have been taking my nephews to these workshops for several months now and my nephews LOVE it. They always preregister online. According to them they have never ever had a problem. The workshops do fill up fast though. So as soon as they have a posting for the next available workshop they immediately sign up. I think its a wonderful activity and its free 🙂

My husband takes our two and four year old to the workshops and believe it or not they do the project all by themselves. They give the children an apron and a patch to sew on it. I’ve sew four patches so far. It’s really nice that they do this.
