This week Big Lots has a few great deals! Remember, Big Lots does not take coupons, but you can take your ad to Walmart or Target to have them do a price match and use your coupons there. If you are not familiar with how this works there are details at the bottom of this post.

Now, if you are not familiar with how Big Lots works, here are the details:
- Big Lots does not accept coupons, so to get these deals you will have to price match at Target or Walmart.
- To price match at Target, you need to have the actual ad in hand and more often than not, Big Lots won’t send an ad in the Sunday paper. Walmart does not require the physical ad to price match.
- Not all Walmart stores will honor Big Lots as a competitor to price match, so it is always best to call ahead and confirm.
- The selection at Walmart and Target will vary.
So basically your luck will really vary and your best bet on these deals is probably going to be at Walmart.

Hey CL, you might check the post one more time because I actually addressed that issue at the top and at the bottom with some tips.

Hi, Charlene! Target Vacaville and Davis don’t price match. I see people posting about price matching in their Targets but not these ones. I was looking for corporate policy on this but can’t find one. Is it up to individual stores to make up their own policy?
Charlene says
Well they have to price match according to the policy:

But they can decide who is a competitor so they can refuse saying they won’t honor Big Lots specifically but they can’t say they won’t price match altogether.

My big lots is wonderful and the deals help me save everyday. Why try to send us on expensive gas trips to other stores that should be like big lots in the first place? It’s my first stop, I get great deals everyday, and don’t have to push others to do what big does ?
Charlene says
Betty I think you should shop wherever you want to shop. Big Lots might be convenient and a nice place for you but that might not be the same case for everyone. My store is actually 15 minutes out of my way and in an area of town that I don’t feel safe. So it is a waste of my gas and my time to drive there. Not everyone is in the same situation. Also, Big Lots does not accept coupons so many people would rather price match at Walmart and Target and have a chance to use coupons.
