Ok here is one more deal I wanted to mention and I think it is a good one but to be honest I don’t pay really careful attention to trash bag prices. You can get a huge box of Kirkland brand trash bags for $25.91 shipped.
I used to buy Tuf bags from Walgreens when they hit $2.99 and that is for 20 bags, which makes it .149 per bag.
This deal works out to 200 bags for $25.91 or .129 per bag including shipping so it seems like a good deal to me.
I got these a few months ago and then I went to post the deal and it was already sold out so this might not last long. I have been really happy with these bags, they seem to be a good equivalent to Tuf. There are lots of reviews saying the ink rubs off on people’s hands and some people took issue with the drawstring. I have not personally noticed any of the things the people commented on and we use these on three garbage cans but you might check those comments out just in case.
Note: This is a Costco brand of garbage bags. If you have a Costco membership, I would assume the price is probably better if you shop in store. I do not have a Costco membership so this is a good deal to me.

I’m pretty sure as a costco member that I only pay about $13-$17 for these. They last me for about a year so its a really good deal for our family.
Laura Williams says
Or if you have a Costco membership you can buy these at Costco for about $15.00 for 200 bags, and then they are only .075 each.

This deal is actually a rip-off. If you walk into Costco to purchase these bags, last time I paid $12.99. Just purchase a gift card instead of a membership. Shame on Amazon!

The last set of these trash bags we bought at Costco aren’t the same as they used to be. The new draw-string (it’s kind of an orange color instead of the red) doesn’t work and the bags are super tight on the top and end up ripping on just a normal garbage can size. The old ones were great and we loved. Hoping they bring them back soon! 🙂

Thank you everyone for the feedback. I don’t have a Costco membership myself and I was really mentioning this deal for the others that don’t have memberships either. To me this is a good deal. If it is not a good deal to you, or if you prefer to pay for warehouse clubs and shop there, I would just keep an eye out for a deal that works out better for you.

Shelly, that is why I mentioned the reviews in the notes. I personally have no idea what people are talking about because my experience has not been the same. I have not noticed that at all and we tend to have a lot of garbage from three different rooms in the house. It seems others share your opinion from the reviews, but again that has not been my experience.

I don’t remember how much I pay in-store at Costco for these, as they last me so long I forget. 🙂 But I love these trash bags. We have used them for years.
I think it’s a lot cheaper than what the Amazon deal is.

Charlene,
I love these bags, and use them in my home. I am a member of costco though, and I do get them cheaper. (I live in your town, and I would be happy to get some for you. )

I just buy the Ruffles ones at Target. They are $4.14 for 45 count. Which makes it 0.09 cents each…
tereza says
Target has 200ct trashbags (not sure if they are drawsting or flaps )for $13.79 plus I think there is target cpn for for 80ct+ I havent tried them so I have no idea if they are good or bad. But considering that branded trashbags are keeping same price while quantity in box is going down (this month they again resized glad trashbags down….).
Charlene says
Tereza I looked at bags at Target awhile back and I remember thinking they were outrageous in price but I will have to pay closer attention.
Charlene says
Ha no that’s ok Stacey but thank you for the offer 😉 I guess I just don’t really mind paying a few extra dollars to not have to hassle with trash bags for a very long time. It doesn’t bother me at all to pay a little more to have them delivered to the house and not deal with it again for another year.
I really need to reconsider Costco again. Everyone keeps saying all the great deals they get and I was a member for years and never really found much savings but then again I have very little patience for waiting in long lines and spending significant periods of time in the store so maybe that was the problem.
KimH says
I concur with the other Costco members.. I pay about $15 ish for the box & they last forever.. No problems and they’re really thick, great bags.
Charlene says
Ok thanks everyone again for the feedback. I completely and totally understand they are cheaper in the store. I think that is even noted in the post. Just please keep in mind there is only a very small percentage of readers that actually shop at Costco and that is who this post is directed too. So again, if you have a membership and shop there I would just skip this deal.
If you do not have a Costco membership and you just want a good price for garbage bags, I think this is worth considering. If you find a better price on some other brand you like, well once again, I would get that product instead. This is just an option. I think it is a good deal. If you don’t find this to be a good deal then hopefully something else comes along you like better.

Shelly 🙂 is right. Our most recent purchase of these trash bags was a bit disappointing. Not the same quality as previously.
Deborah says
I just bought these Friday for $13.50 at Costco. We have used these bags for a long time. I have had no issues with them and a box lasts a long time, 6-10 months I would guess. I have never priced the per bag cost because they last so long.
Charlene says
Hey Deborah how have you been? I haven’t heard from you in awhile!
JJ says
Dollar tree have IRON-CLAD brand 13 Gallon tall kitchen bags 12 pk for 1 buck, i really recommend it , is pretty much the same quality than the Kirkland and u don’t have to put a lot of $$$ out of your pocket.
Anyway, think that they will end up in the garbage. 😛
Elisha Portman says
These USED to be great bags, but now they are thin and flimsy. The drawstring isn’t strong and the bags don’t fit the same can they used to. They rip at the top. I now have to double bag. They reduced the quality and increased the price
Charlene says
Thank you for your feedback Elisha. These bags that I posted must be different from what is sold in stores because my experience has not been the same at all.
